AC thermostat update. It was fine. About this no more will be spoken.
Good Saturday morning, Stroock's Books aficionados, and Happy Nagasaki Day.
A tough, worry filled weak punctuated with stress and challenges and cortisone shots. We had repairs here at home. We had repairs up at the Stroock Northern Strategic Direction. But hey, one reminds oneself to count one's blessings. Here's one:
Maybe this reading is a fluke. Maybe it's a onetime thing. But we've been driving our weight steadily down for a couple of years now. A decade ago, and we're coming up on the tenth anniversary of our artery stent and being 'two weeks away from a cardiac event', we were pushing 270.
The Things:
We spent all week with World War 1990: Thatcher's War. We wrote the first invasion chapter and edited it pretty good.
We failed to come up with any nuclear war story ideas. Frankly we're becoming concerned.

Whatever. Tomorrow we're going down the shore (as we say here in our adopted home state of New Jersey). We suspect we'll blog normally, but don't be surprised if we don't. We'll be tanning as Mediterraneanly as one can on the Jersey Shore and reading up on....The Troubles...We hang our head in shame.
