Saturday Updates
Good morning, Stroock's Books assorted fans. We write this from the pastoral splendor of the Berkshires. The morning sun casts its rays upon the glistening water from which a thin mist rises almost in the Celtic style.
We found a rather large frog in the basement last night. You're in the country, boy.
We talked to a contractor yesterday afternoon about replacing a couple of windows and a door, framing, etc etc. That ain't gonna be cheap. Needs to be done. This is original stuff we're talking about here. We must needs write more.
Let's get on with The Things, shall we?
We had no juju, no inspiration, no lightning strikes for a 5th nuke novel on the drive up here.
We spent all week working on World War 1990: The Managua Campaign. The aftermath of the Battle of Los Banos is coming along. The MS is now 25,000 words. We're primed for a good August.
We did some light work on World War 1990: Thatcher's War. She's also coming along.
We might have had an advertising idea. Anyone get World War Two history?
